10/21 - Corn, Corn, and more Corn

10.21.2021 - October Update

Owl Peak Farm is moving through Harvest at a steady pace: apples, onions, potatoes, beans, corn, corn, and more corn. This season has been one of the best all around - celebrating community with each event and the farm providing bountiful food and beauty. With the end of the season comes goodbyes as Chloë, Niko, and Payton leave to start new endeavors. Congratulations on their teamwork and a successful time at Owl Peak Farm. We will miss their fun, creativity, and many impressive talents.

Joining the team is Jennifer Treistman and her son, Antonio - she’ll be helping with the start of the Mill and Owl Peak Farm Grains. Information about milling and what we are processing will take a while, but you’ll be the first to know.

We will be carrying on the tradition of ‘garbage man lunch’ every Wednesday 11am to 1pm for the community - pay by donation. Linda’s Coffee Stop will be open Mon-Fri from 6am/7am to 11am/12pm.

Thank you for your support and for coming to enjoy what we do best.

Have a joyful end of 2021 and all the best in 2022!
