Hello Farm friends and neighbors,

Owl Peak Farm is excited to announce that we will resume our Lunch & Dinner program at the end of June in a reimagined way - “Dora’s in a Box.” Marjory Sweet’s seasonal meals will be available to-go, with orders placed in advance and paid online. Picnic tables are in the pasture and we welcome you to spread out and eat, or take it away. We hope our meal offerings will stay true to the spirit of the farm, while also taking into account COVID-19 safe practices. You’ll notice many changes, but the food, the wood fire, and the views remain the same. Check your inbox next week for when you can place your Dora’s in a Box order. Learn more.

The fields are greening and final plantings of 3 more experimental corns from NMSU and the Southwest Grain Collaborative (SGC) are in the ground. Read about what the SGC is doing for New Mexico farmers in supporting organic small farm grain production in their May/June Newsletter.

This weekend, we are saying goodbye to the St John’s College students. Many thanks to everyone who helped make the two and a half months run smoothly, with very special gratitude to Marjory Sweet who planned, shopped, cooked, and delivered 3 dinners a week to ease the task of feeding 16 at the table every day.
